4.3 Configure the flashing system

4.3.1 General procedure

Set the dip-switch banks of the LMC:

It is not possible to configure the J-Bus remote control when you use manual configuration.

•

It is not possible to configure the mulitwire functions per terminal when you use manual configuration.

4.3.2 Manual configuration

General procedure

Warning

Make sure that all power to the FCU cabinet is OFF before you set the dip- switches.

1. Enable local control;
2. Enable manual configuration;
3. Set the number of equipments in the system;
4. Set the sequence, timing and RTILs / REILs;
5. Restart the LMC. Use the fused input switch.

Enable local control

6. Set the rotary switch of the LMC PCB to 0.

Enable manual configuration

7. Set the dip-switch 4 of dip-switch bank SW4 of the LMC PCB to ON.

Set number of equipments in system

8. Set the dip-switches 1 to 6 of dip-switch bank SW5 of the LMC PCB the same as dip-switch bank SW2 for the last flasher

head in the flashing system. See §

Define the equipment address

. This is the number of flasher heads in the flashing

system. Set flashing sequence, timing and RTILS or REILS
