Replacing a PSU

Note: 

PSUs are hot-swappable.

To replace a PSU:

1

Identify the failed PSU and turn it 

OFF

. 

2

Remove the power cord from the PSU.

3

Using your thumb and fore finger, squeeze the power supply 
release latch while pulling the power supply from the storage 
subsystem, as shown in 

Figure 5-11

.
