10.4.3 

Dynamic (Animal) Weighing 

The balance can be set to weigh animals or unstable/moving items. This is commonly 
referred to as ‘Dynamic’ or ‘Animal’ weighing mode. The balance will collect the weight 
over a period of time to arrive at an average value and display the value until the operator 
resets the balance. The actual weighing process can begin either automatically when the 
weight is placed on the pan, or when initiated by the operator. The weighing unit can be 
selected as normal using the [Unit] and [Setup] keys, before starting the dynamic 
weighing process. 
 
Steps: 
Press [Mode] and then the [Up] or [Down] key to cycle through available modes. When 
the “

Dynamic

” symbol is displayed, press [Setup] to enter dynamic weighing mode. “
