
Introduction:
They are thousands of Honda and Acura radios out there without
Bluetooth capabilities, but with the A2D-HON98 these radios will be
able to support a wireless streaming connection from Smartphone,
Tablet, Kindle etc. Simply connect the adapter to 14-pin CD Changer
port on the radio, pair Bluetooth device and enjoy the best sound
possible on the car speakers! This adapter replaces external CD
Changer, XM or any other accessory on this port.
Installation:
1.
Remove the Honda Radio to gain access to the connector.
Note: Vehicles specific radio removal instructions are not
part of this guide but may be available upon request.
2.
Disconnect any Honda accessory connected to the 14-pin
connector (See Fig. 2)
3.
Connect 14-pin plug (See Fig. 1) from the A2D-HON98 to
Radio (See. Fig. 2)

Pairing:
Pairing process varies from Phone to Phone but the basic steps are
the same. Pairing is done upon initial install and will not have to be
repeated.

Go to
Settings, Wireless & Networks, Bluetooth Settings
2.
Select
Bluetooth
and turn on.
3.
Go to Bluetooth settings
4.
Tap
Scan for devices
.
5.
Wait for the Bluetooth device name to appear and select it.
