7.11.8.3 Rebooting the Library

CAUTION

Some options of the RMU take the Library offline. This
inactive mode can interfere with host-based application
software, causing data loss. Ensure that the Library is idle
before attempting to perform any remote operations that
will take the Library offline.

This page is used to perform a Library reboot. There is a default time delay when the Web page
refreshes itself. This time should be sufficient to reload the page. However, during a reboot, the
connection to the Library may be lost. If the connection is lost, the user will have to reload the
page manually.
