1. OVERVIEW 

This is an AR-B1552 Pentium CPU Board with Ethernet, DOM. 
This chapter provides an overview of your system features and capabilities.  The following topics are covered:

1.1 SPECIFICATION 

CPU: Cyrix GX1 233~300MHz. 

Chipset: Cyrix CS5530A 

Features 

RAM Memory: Supports 1 X SODIMM sockets, 128MB maximum. 

SSD: Compact Flash Interface X 1. 

Watchdog: Software programmable 1~63sec. 

VGA Display: GX1 UMA.

Ethernet: RT8139C chipset, supports 10/100M base T with RJ-45 connector built-in Led.

RS-232C is selected by jumper and use the same connector. 

 

 

                                IrDA use 2.54mm 5-pin header. 

   

             Touch Screen uses 2.0mm 3-pin JST connector. 

USN: A specific Universal Serial Number is attached for hardware identification 

                   (accomplished by Dallas DS2401 Silicon Serial Number). 

Keyboard/Mouse: PS/2 compatible 6-pin mini-DIN connector located at bracket. 

USB: Built-in 2 ports USB interface with 2.54mm 10-pin headers. 

RTC: Chipset included, supports ACPI function with 10 years data retention. 

Speaker: Supports on-board buzzer. 

Expansion Bus: PC/104 

LED Indicators: Power LED. LAN LED at LAN port. 

Power Req.: +5V-3.0A maximum and 12V –0.5A maximum. 

Power Connector: One 8-pin 2.5mm JST, one 4-pin 5.08mm wafer connector. 

CE Design-In: Add EMI components to COM ports, Parallel port, CRT, USB, Keyboard, and PS/2 
mouse. 

PC Board: 8 layers, EMI considered. Especially in switching power layout. 

Dimensions: 145mm x 102 mm (5.7" x 4").
