Acorn multiscan monitor User Guide

Controls and adjustments

The numbers below refer to the diagram opposite.

1 Switching on: press the righthand end of 

the rocker switch.

Switching off: press the lefthand end of 
the rocker switch.

2 Adjusts the screen contrast.

3 Adjusts the screen brightness.

4 Used to adjust the image horizontally 

from left to right.

5 Used to adjust the height of the image, if 

the Vertical Size switch (see 7 below) is 
in the 'MANU' position.

6 NOR:

Push to left to select 

Default screen width.

ADD:

Push to right to select 

additional screen width, 
useful in certain Acorn 
Modes (e.g. 16).

7 AUTO: Push to left to set up the 

correct aspect ratio in
Acorn Mode 12 and true VGA.

MANU: Push to right for all other 

screen modes, aspect ratio to 
be set by the user.
