PZ2 screwdrivers are
not
recommended for this purpose because damage is likely
to be caused to the screw head.
Backup Power Supply
The SGM1400-B Series meters have an internal backup power battery that is not
replaceable in the field. It is designed for a 20 year lifetime.
Mounting Template
The SGM1400-B Series meters support a three screw mounting arrangement that
is typically used on IEC energy meters. The meter meets all dimensional
requirements of BS 7856:2013.
The meter mounting holes support screws with a thread diameter of up to 5.2 mm,
and the two lower mounting holes are oval shaped to allow for some flexibility
when mounting to an existing installation.
The top mounting hole is not accessible when the meter is mounted. The lower
two mounting holes are located beneath and sealed by the terminal cover.
Connect SGM1400-B to the CSP Communications Hub
Use the following procedure to pair the SGM1400-B ZigBee communication
protocol radio with the CSP-supplied communication hub.
1.
Remove the communications cover plate and physically connect the
communications hub CH to the SGM1400-B electricity meter.
2.
Power up the SGM1400-B electricity meter.
