Acer eManager is a simple and easy-to-use portal for managing your new 
Acer desktop computer. eManager includes:

Acer eSecurity (Acer eLock/eProtection) — Ensures your data security.

Acer eRecovery — Creates backups and recovers system configurations 
reliably.

Acer eLock

Acer eLock is a security utility that is included within Acer eSecurity and made 
specifically for Acer desktop computers. This utility allows you to lock up your 
USB data, optical and floppy drives to ensure that data can't be stolen while 
your computer is unattended.
•

USB Data Devices — Includes USB disk drives, USB pen drives, USB flash 
drives, USB MP3 drives and any other USB drives that would create a Z: 
directory when plugged into the system.

•

Optical Drives — Includes any kind of CD-ROM or DVD-ROM drives.
