If it is a 30Pin LCD, please remove two residual mylar on the LCD cover. 

NOTE:

 There are 2 thicknesses of LCD, corresponding to different thickness of the easy-pull-glue. 

The 30Pin LCD uses a 0.95mm thick glue with a layer of mylar. 
The 40pin LCD uses a thickness of 0.65mm.
