Chapter 3

Remove the 3.5-inch drive frame from the housing by pressing the tab on top and pivoting the frame
outward.

NOTE:

A metal drive cover should be pulled out before you install a new drive into an empty 3.5-inch bay. This

cover should be removed if a 3.5-inch drive is installed. The function of the cover is to prevent EMI
effects.

Remove the screws along the sides of the drive frame and carefully pull out the 3.5-inch disk drive.
