Pressing the third
Easy-launch button
(with the "e" on it)
brings up Acer's
eManager Menu,
which groups the
Ferrari 4000's most
commonly used Acer
utilities together for
quick and easy
access. Let's take a
look at the first
option—Acer
ePresentation.
Acer ePresentation
provides a fast and
simple way of setting
the Ferrari's screen
resolution when it's
connected to a
projector, without
having to dig through
the Display Settings
applet under
Windows Control
panel.
Clicking the Help icon
on the ePresentation
screen brings up this
useful mini-guide on
the utility.
Next, is Acer
eRecovery for
creating and
restoring system
backups, and re-
installing system
applications and
drivers.
Type in the password
(default is six zeroes)
Software
Nowadays, the average notebook computer ships with enough pre-installed software
and utilities for
two
notebooks; most of it will never be used and just hogs disk space
and system resources. If you’re looking for full-blown office suites and the usual
