SES drives: Drive bay set for immediate start, all other bays are delayed spin start (12 seconds x
Module 8 of the SEL_ID) unless there are two active PSUs when they all start immediately.
2.9 Altos S200F Drive Enclosure
Device Addressing
Each enclosure has 16 drive bays. The SEL_ID of each drive is determined by the device slot (0-15) in
which it is installed and the address range setting, which is set by means of the Enclosure ID switch
on the Ops Panel (shown in
) at the rear of the enclosure. The switch settings
are shown in
Table 2–4
