breathalyzer until you hear a “rattle tone” (during the test the
breathalyzer beeps 6 times). If the test is successful, then you
can see your test result in the app on your phone move (but not
on the display of the breathalyzer itself).

For a new test, please put a new mouthpiece into the mouth-
piece connection of your breathalyzer and tap the 3 lines in
the upper left of the app. Then select „Home“ and proceed as
described in point 4. and 5.
The „Alcovisor“ app provides various functions such as the
automatic saving of the tests (with date, time and test result),
your individually fixed measurement limit for warnings or the
change of the measuring unit. The tests are stored up to 1000
days in the past, always starting with the current date.
To turn off the breathalyzer, press the middle button for about
3 seconds (you shortly see „Power off“on the display of the
breathalyzer). The device also switches off automatically after 3
minutes.
Conducting the measurement without app:
1.
Press the middle button (on the front of the breathalyzer) for
2-3 seconds to switch on. The total number of the previously
conducted tests appear on the display of alcohol tester for about
2 seconds (this may be at a new device at up to 10 tests, if the
equipment has been tested for quality assurance before delivery).

The sensor in the device heats up shortly and then the display
on the breathalyzer shows „Disconnected“ ( „Disconnected“)
and „Test“. For a test without app select „Test” and confirm the
selection with the middle button (in the mouthpiece opening you
can see a red light).

Now take a deep breath and blow for about 5 seconds cons-
tantly and without a break into the mouthpiece of the breathaly-
zer until you hear a “rattle tone”. During the breath sample, a red
light, and you can hear a beep. At the end of the test, the beep
stops and the red light goes out, then the breathalyzer evaluates
your test result.

If the test is successful, then the result will be displayed
directly on the display of the ACE Wave Breathalyzer.

For a new test, please put a new mouthpiece into the mouth-
piece connection of your breathalyzer and choose „Test“ on the
display of the breathalyzer.
To turn off the breathalyzer, press the middle button for about
3 seconds. The device also switches off automatically after 3
minutes.
Important notice:
When you have eaten, drunken alcohol or smoked a
cigarette, wait at least 20 minutes before starting the
measurement. If the test result is below 0.050‰ (per mill) OR
0.005 % BAC OR 0.025 mg/L (depending on the setting) then
the device shows 0.000‰ OR 0.000 % BAC OR 0.000 mg/L on
the display. This happens because at a low range of alcohol
concentration, and thus it is possible to measure other
materials in your mouth.
