Settings Menu

1.  To access the settings menu, press

Clock

OSD Duration

The duration of the on-screen display: 2, 4, 6, or 
8 seconds.

Sleep Timer

The TV turns off if left inactive for this amount 
of time: 5, 10, 15, 30, 45, 60, 90, 120, 180, 240
minutes, or OFF.

Time Zone (DTV only)

Select your time zone: Atlantic, Eastern, Central, 
Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, or Hawaii.

Day Saving Time (DTV only)

On

Off.

Setup

Language

Select a language: English, Spanish, or French.

Transparent

On

 or 

Off

: Transparent menu.

Closed Caption

Select the Caption option: CC 1-4, Text 1-4, Service 1-6
(DTV only), or Off.

Zoom Mode

Select a zoom mode: Auto, Wide, Zoom, Cinema.

Restore Setting

Restores the factory settings.

Channel Setup (TV only)

Antenna

Select a reception method: Air or CATV (cable)

Auto Scan

Scans for channels to save to memory. Erases previously 
saved channel information.

Auto Scan Add CH

Scans for channels to save to memory, but does not erase 
previously saved channel information.

Channel Skip

Set the TV to skip specific channels found during 
autoscan.

Channel NO

Switches the channel, but remains in Menu mode.

Channel Label

Lets you edit the program label that appears when 
a channel is selected. DTV automatically adds this 
information. You can manually edit it for ATV.

3. Press

MENU

again to exit the setting menu.
