ASSEMBLY
Objectives
(Fig. 1 & 2)
To install the objectives:
1. Turn the coarse adjustment knob

(Fig. 1) until the revolving nosepiece is at its lowest position.
2. Remove the nosepiece cap

closest to you and thread the lowest magnification objective onto the
nosepiece opening, then rotate the nosepiece clockwise and thread the other objectives from low to
high magnification. (Fig. 2)
NOTE:
●
Always rotate the nosepiece by using the knurled nosepiece ring.
●
Keep the covers on any unused nosepiece openings to prevent dust and dirt from
getting inside.
Filters
(Optional)

Take out the filter holder

and insert a
filter

. Be sure to push the filter down
to the bottom as shown

. If it’s not
installed properly (i.e., it’s tilted in the
holder

), it may fall through the filter
holder.
More than one filter can be stacked in the
filter holder as long as the total thickness
of all filters does not exceed 11mm.
