After setting the switches to the above values indicated, you now want to move
switch # 7 (toggle switch) from the centre or net position to the full left or gross
position.
7.
With switch # 7 (toggle) in the gross or left position, you now want to fully
depress switch # 8 (plunger reset). The register will now go through a reset and
you will see the numbers 1 through 9 successively appear on your screen.
8.
After the register has reset, you now want to move switch # 7 “back” to the
centre or “NET” position (
“VERY IMPORTANT”
)
9.
We now want to manually reset the register by moving the # 7 toggle switch all
the way to the right, this position is spring loaded and will return to the center or
net position. The register will now go through a reset and you will see the
numbers 1 through 9 successively appear on your screen.
SECTION TWO
1.
With the computer in the cab still set to “GASOLINE”
2.
Now we want to move switch # 6 to the number “9” position, and again
manually reset the register by moving the # 7 toggle switch all the way to the
right.

Now record the numbers that appear on the registers display;
GASOLINE

Now at the computer in the cab, press the line 2 key to change the product to
“DISTILLATE”, and then check the registers display, and record the numbers
that appear below;
DISTILLATE
