Service board
The service board is located at the front of the drive unit directly under the service cover. This board is needed to set
the stairlift service settings and is equipped with a display to give some information to the service technician.
The board has a 3-digit display and 3 control keys to enter the different service menu’s. It also has a connector for a
dimmable led, which is connected to a blue led that can be seen through the service cover.
Figure 4-5: Service board
At the factory the drive is fitted with a handle and a switch that is connected to the control board. With that handle
the drive unit can be carried and the switches enable the service technician to ride the lift onto the rail in mode -3-
(see Tab 04 - Installation manual). After installation the handle can be disconnected and removed.
4.1.1
The memory system
The lift has two memory systems. An internal memory system located on the control board and an external memory
system: a micro SD card.
The stairlift has flash memory on board in which data can be persisted. The most important data is:
0.
Identification (stairlift type and account number)
1.
Rail data: track related data e.g. speed profile, stop position etc.
2.
Error data: history of the last 100 errors that have occurred with a time stamp
3. Maintenance
counters
4.
Parameter data (hour counter, left/right rail, etc.)
