7.2.7 Replacement of main cable
Before the main cable can be replaced, the stainless steel guide plate with MSR head assembly
should be removed. Remove the 2 screws securing the guide plate to the base moulding. Also
remove the screw retaining the earth tags.
Release the flat MSR head ribbon cable and the two OCR head cables.

2 off M3 x 6mm screws secure the
stainless steel guide to the base moulding
M3 x 4mm screw with crinkle washer
secures earth bond point. NB Fit the
washer UNDER the ring tag
An insulation spacer is located below the guide assembly. Carefully lift this away.
The main cable is plugged into a connector on the main control PCB and the screen connection is
via a ring tag secured by a screw.
