How to prepare the Atigra for storage, shipment or travel
1.
Disconnect the batteries and tape the terminals to prevent any possible electrical contact
2.
Remove the controller handpiece from the armrest and wrap securely to protect it from impact
damage
3.
Remove the armrests and legrests. We recommend the armrests and legrests be wrapped separately
in protective covering such as bubble wrap
4.
Wrap the chair with a protective material to protect it from impact damage. A waterproof wrapping
material is recommended.
5.
Note – care must be taken when re-connecting the batteries to ensure the connections are made
according to the circuit diagram located under the battery box cover
Packing and shipping instructions
The best method for shipment of the chair is to have it shipped on a pallet. It is recommended that
1.
The chair is strapped to the pallet at the designated tie down points
2.
The park brakes are applied and the clutches are engaged
3.
A protective cover such as a cardboard lid be placed over the chair to prevent any contact with the
chair by outside objects. The lid should be secured to the pallet.
Limited Product Warranty
This is to certify that the Atigra Mid Wheel Drive is guaranteed to be free of fault, wear and tear excluded, as
follows:
•
Electric motors and battery charger
•
Micro processor controller
•
Upholstery
for a period of twelve months from the date of purchase.
Batteries, tyres and tubes are specifically excluded from warranty
This warranty is subject to the following conditions:
a.
The company will not accept responsibility if the fault was caused by misuse or failure to observe
the instructions in the Users Manual.
b.
The warranty will not apply to problems arising from normal wear and tear of wheelchair
components.
c.
If a fault develops, it is the responsibility of the owner to immediately notify the Company or the
distributor from whom the chair was purchased.
d.
All costs associated with the freight of the chair or any faulty
components are the responsibility of the owner.
e.
Any parts found to be defective due to faulty workmanship and/or materials will be renewed or
repaired at the Company's discretion without charge to the owner to the chair.
f.
The guarantee will be made void if any unauthorised repair or alteration has been made,
or the user the weight of other items carried exceeds 135 kgs (297 lbs)

There are no other express warranties.
