PLANT PREREQUISITES
Your plant's roots must reach through to the
bottom of your fabric pot for the self-watering
action to function properly.
You can confirm this by checking if your plant's
leaves are level with your fabric pot’s rim, or if
any dried roots have penetrated the bottom.
SELF-WATERING
FILLING THE RESERVOIR
Fill the basin with water and your preferred water-
soluble nutrients.
When watering, lift your fabric pot off of the base
and pour water directly into the reservoir. Leaving
your fabric pot on top of the reservoir throughout the
entire grow may cause the roots and wick lines to
interlock, resulting in hindered water delivery.
Refill the basin whenever the water meter reads
empty. It is recommended to clean and refill the
basin every two weeks to prevent unwanted buildup
and further protect against interlocking roots and
wick lines.
