Please do following steps for connecting TVHS10040 with Door unit TVHS10000A successfully:
1)
Connect a 12V DC power supply to the “POWER IN” cable (GND = black wire, +12V= red wire)
Now the red Power LED and the green TX/RX LEDs are on. The “RUN” LED is blinking as far as
the tamper contact on the backside is not pushed.
2)
Now connect your door opener with the relay of TVHS10040. The integrated relay can handle
up to 2A 30VDC and 0.5A 125VAC. In case of you need more switching capacity please use an
external relay.
The relay out is marked as “Lock out”.
If you need the “Normally open” operating mode, use the wires “White-Red” (Relay_NO) and
“White-Black” (Relay_COM).
For “Normally closed” use “White-purple” (Relay_NC) and “White-Black” (Relay_COM).
3)
Now connect the RS485 communication wire [RS485+ yellow, RS485- blue] to the door unit
TVHS1000A. Please check polarity!
4)
Please check DIP switches for correct adjustment. (1= ON, 2 = OFF, 3 = OFF, 4 = OFF)
5)
Now test your door opener function and push the “Open door” button on the monitor of
your intercom station. As soon as the Door-Relay is triggered the green LED “Relay” is
activated on the TVHS10040.
Note:
The other connectors of the unit currently are not used.
