Functions and technical features
• The smoke alarm does not recognise gases, vapours, heat and fire/flames!
• It is possible that people with limited hearing may not hear the alarm! For such
cases there is an alarm with additional visual signals!
• Especially high electromagnetic radiation may affect unit operation. Therefore, do
not install the alarm near devices which emit electromagnetic radiation or close
to magnets.
• This smoke alarm works according to the principles of optics (photoelectric reflec-
tion) and contains a measuring chamber in which penetrating smoke particles
are measured.
• If the alarm threshold is exceeded, a loud, audible alarm will sound.
• The alarm will switch itself off as soon as the measuring chamber becomes
smoke-free again.
