choosing the installation location, check the sensor’s range of view (Fig. 1) and communication
with the alarm system (see “Testing the sensor”).
Do NOT install the sensor:
– opposite sources of heat or windows
– above a radiator
– near the floor
– near large metal structures
– within 1 meter of electric cables or gas pipes
– near electronic equipment or radio devices
Learning

Switch your radio alarm equipment / radio receiver to learn mode. See the receiver
instructions for advice on this.
2.
Radio variant:
Activate the tamper contact of the motion sensor to send a tamper message to the
radio alarm system.
IR variant:
Point the LED of the motion sensor at the IR receiver of the radio extension (RFX).
Now trigger the tamper contact of the motion sensor.
3.
Make sure that the motion sensor is recognised by your radio alarm equipment /
radio receiver and then close the case.
Wall tamper contact
To use the wall tamper contact:
1. Open the knockout hole on the rear of the sensor (Fig. 3). Make sure that the opening is
large enough for the head of the tamper switch.
