Important :
Always unplug the cooker and allow it to cool before cleaning.
Never immerse the cooker unit base, mains lead or plug in any
liquid. Never use harsh abrasive cleaners or cleaning materials.
Avoid severe temperature changes – direct heat or sudden cooling.
Cleaning the ceramic cooking pot and glass lid
Turn the temperature control dial to the ‘Off’ position, allow all
parts to completely cool and make sure the unit is unplugged.
Remove the ceramic cooking pot and glass lid from the unit base.
Wash the ceramic pot and lid in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry
thoroughly.
The ceramic cooking pot and glass lid can also be washed in a
dishwasher.
When removing stubborn dirt or stains, fill the cooking pot two
thirds full with warm soapy water and leave to soak. Rinse and dry
thoroughly.
Cleaning the cooker unit base
The interior and exterior of the cooker base can be wiped with a
soft, damp cloth. Never immerse in water or other liquid.
Take care when handling the ceramic cooking pot. It should not be
used if it is cracked or chipped.
Never clean any component of the cooker with scourers, abrasive
pads or chemicals.
