Access Policy
Policy
Set access control policy of the stations. Select Disable, Allow or Reject form
the pull-down menu.
Add a station
Mac
Enter a station MAC in the blank field. The maximum rule count is 8.
WDS
Making a connection between access points by using WDS function, please follow below steps.
1.
The APs must support WDS function.
(To set WDS must use the same
wireless product
(the same
model
will be better); due to different
wireless products might support different WDS settings. Thus, it is suggested to use the same
wireless products that support WDS function.)
2.
To set the same
SSID
on the APs.
3.
To set the same
channel
on the APs.
4.
To set the same
Wireless MAC address
(BSSID)
on the APs.
5.
To set same
security
(WEP or WPA) on the APs.
Wireless Distribution System (WDS)
WDS Mode
Select the mode from the pull-down menu,
Disable, Bridge Mode
or
Repeater Mode
. (Default WDS mode is Disable.)
If the users would like to set up the WDS function, please go to
Wireless>
Basic
to set up APs that should use the same
SSID
(case-sensitive) and
Channel
, then go back to
Wireless> WDS
to enter
Wireless MAC
address
(BSSID)
of each other to make the WDS connection.
