For this configuration, the switch must be in the position, indicated in
the preceding table.
Important Remark:
This configuration is only valid in case the FAX connected to P1
returns L1’ on pins 2 and 5 of the RJ11 connector (or 3 and 6 of
the RJ45 connector).
Check the FAX documentation before using this feature.

Whenever the FAX is disconnected, all the phones connected to
P2 ~ P3 are disconnected also.
If the FAX is disconnected (repair, maintenance,…) the
configuration must be changed (Select setting A).
The use of this feature has no influence on the ADSL port.

Troubleshooting
- The telephone system works fine, but the ADSL modem
connected to P4 is not working.
Check if the ADSL line is activated by the provider.
Check if the ABI-ET2003 unit is directly connected to the
provider outlet (there should be no external ADSL filter
installed).
- The telephone connected to port 1 works fine, but those
connected to ports 2 and 3 are not working.
In case no FAX is connected and the feed-through feature
is not used, verify that the switch is in position A.
In case a FAX is connected, check if the FAX device
supports the feed-through feature and returns the phone
signal to pins 2 and 5 of the RJ11 connector (to pins 3 and
6 of the RJ45 connector).

Excessive noise during a phone conversation:
Make sure the telephones are only connected to ports P1 to
P3 of the module.
In case the scenario from §5.1 is used, make sure that
there is no ADSL signal present on the incoming phone
line.
