OPERATING THE CONSOLE
At startup, press the MODE button to select year, month, date, hour and minute.
Adjust the values with the UP and DOWN buttons
The computer automatically starts counting as soon as you start exercising. All
values counting upward from 0
To preset values such as time, distance, calories and pulse, press the MODE button
until the value you want to adjust starts flashing. Adjust wit the UP and DOWN
buttons. Press RESET to reset every single value. The values you have set as target
values will count down to 0. As the various preset parameters reaches 0, it will beep
an alarm for 8 seconds and the values will begin to count upwards.
By pre-setting of the pulse, you must enter the pulse limits you want to stay inside.
Once you exceed the specified rate, an alarm will beep until you have lowered the
heart rate to below the set goal.
During exercise, change the display mode by pressing the MODE button. The
different values shown are the cadence/speed, time, distance, calories burned and
pulse. The last option is SCAN, where the screen shows all the possible values one
by one with 6-second intervals.
At any time during training, press the RECOVERY button to measure your fitness
level. Stop pedaling, and hold on to both hand pulse sensors while the display counts
down from 60 sec. The computer records how much your heart rate falls during one
minute and provides a rating of your physical condition on a scale from 1-6 where 6 is
the worst and 1 is best. Press the RECOVERY button again to return to normal
training mode.
If the computer does not register any movement for a 4 min. period, it will go into
sleep mode where it shows the date, time and indoor temperature.
