Recording IR Channel from another Transmitter
Make sure the batteries in both transmitters are fully charged. Do not use the transmitters in
intense light (e.g., sunlight) when programming.
Place the two transmitters on a table with the original transmitter directed towards the front
of your IR-1SP Micro, see picture.
1. Press the programming button
P
and the function button
O
at
the same time.
To check that the transmitters are in the right position, keep any
button pressed on the original transmitter and move the original
transmitter to the left and right until the indicator light goes out.
Then move the original transmitter backwards until the indicator
light goes out (one metre for some transmitters). Place the
original transmitter at the centre of these maximum range
positions. Certain types of transmitters only emit a short flash
each time the button is pressed. In these cases, press several
times.
2. Press and release the function button
O
on the IR-1SP Micro.
The indicator light now emits a steady red light.
3. Press and hold the button
Y
on the original transmitter that
shall be recorded to IR-1SP Micro. Release the button when the
indicator light goes out. It might take up to 10 seconds. If the
indicator light turns red again then press the button again until it
goes out.
4. Now test your recorded function on the device that is to be
controlled.

Tip! IR-1SP Micro can record codes from most IR transmitters on the market with a few
exceptions. You may have problems with a few or all of the functions for a certain IR
transmitter. In these cases it is possible to use another recording method. Instead, do as
follows in step 1; Press the programming button and the function button at the same time
but keep them pressed for approximately 2 seconds. IR-1SP Micro is now in another
recording mode. Otherwise use the same programming procedure.
