Adding GewaRadio (GR) units
With your Control Medi Multi it is possible to control units with GewaRadio (GR).
The GR unit can be a radio receiver (GR receiver) or a radio transmitter (GR transmitter)
manufactured by Abilia, or switches and wall outlets from Schnider (Connect) and Merten
(System M).
Before adding GR commands, the following must be considered:
Units that can be controlled are the Gewa Andromeda and switches and sockets from
Schnider (Connect) and Merten (System M).
We recommend that you first reset the GR units (ie. remove them) before you start
adding them to your Control Medi. If a GR unit has been programmed, it cannot be
added again without a reset.
Your Control Medi Multi must always be used as the primary transmitter. You must first
program your Control Medi Multi and then add other GR transmitters afterwards. To add
another GR transmitter we recommended that you follow the GR manual.
When your Control Medi Multi has been programmed with GR units, a backup should be
made to save all settings. It is possible to use the backup file for another Control Medi
and in that way restore the same functions.
If your Control Medi Multi is switched off or breaks, other GR transmitters will still work
that are programmed in the system. If your Control Medi Multi is replaced by another
Control Medi Multi, the backup copy must be used for it to function in the same way.
