10 Troubleshooting
DANGER
Risk of injury and device damage when handled by unauthorized persons
Improper repair work and modifications to the product may lead to serious injuries and
damage to the device. The product warranty will be rendered invalid if work is carried out on
the product by unauthorized persons.
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
DANGER
Risk of burns
Risk of burns from hot coolant and hot surfaces.
• Switch off the cooling unit before starting maintenance, servicing, assembly, disassembly
or repair work.
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
NOTICE
• Observe the attached “Warranty” document. In the event of any questions and/or
problems, please contact your retailer or the manufacturer.
• Consult the documentation for the welding components.
Fault Cause Troubleshooting
Stop signal • Cable assembly mounted
incorrectly


• Stop signal is triggered
while the robot is moving
• Check the installation of the cable
assembly. The cable assembly must
be mounted in the robot's
maintenance position (Fig. 4)
without tensile strain.

Observe operating instructions
for the wire feeder
• Control lead or board
defective
• Have it checked and replaced by
qualified personnel
• Cable assembly mounted
under torsion
• Unscrew cable assembly from
feeder and reconnect it free of
torsion
• Connector not connected • Check connector on the welding
torch side and wire feeder side
