6 Putting into operation
FEC W3
6.3 Current clamp (optional)
If welding conditions are not favourable, a current clamp instead of an earth cable may be used. This is connected to the
FEC W3
via the 4-pole plug and routed above the earth cable and cable assembly as required. When the welding process
starts, the
FEC W3
receives a signal and starts the extraction process.

Connect the current clamp plug to the current clamp socket

Route the current clamp above the earth cable or the cable assembly.

Press the A/Auto
button on the control panel.
The extraction process starts as soon as you start the welding process.
