9 Maintenance and cleaning
Scheduled maintenance and cleaning is a prerequisite for a long life and a
trouble-free operation.
The Air-blast and injection unit does not require maintenance but we
recommend regular cleaning. Please check if there are any leaks.
10 Troubleshooting
NOTICE
• Maintenance and cleaning work may only be carried out by qualified
and trained specialists.
• Always wear your personal protective equipment when performing
maintenance and cleaning work.
NOTICE
• If the measures described below are not successful, please consult your
dealer or the manufacturer.
• Please also consult the operating instructions for the welding
components, such as power source, welding torch system.
Fault Cause Solution
No spraying function • Check level!
• Hose connections open.
• Air-blast hose kinked.
• Refill anti-spatter agent.
• Close the compressed air supply.
• Check hose guide.
Spraying function is
not switched on/off • Output signal is active.
• Solenoid valve does not work.
• Check system control.
• Replace solenoid valve, if
necessary, and check the control
lead.
Air-blast and injection
unit leaks • Screws loose.
• Improper mounting.
• Retighten; replace seals if
necessary (seal kit 832.0044)
• Mount without vibration and
according to specifications.
