6 Putting into operation

6.1 Mounting the welding torch system
The
ABIMIG
®
SpinArc
®
, with the exception of the contact tip, is pre-assembled when delivered, which
means that you only need to connect it to the relevant system and make the corresponding settings.
6.1.1 Mounting the contact tip

Secure the contact tip
as shown.
6.2 Connecting the torch to the wire feeder

Slot the central connector into the wire feeder socket. Tighten the screw on the wire feeder. The fastening
for the control lead must be pointing downward.
WARNING
Risk of injury due to defective or damaged gas or cable connections
There is a risk of injury and electric shock when putting the system into operation, as well as during
maintenance, servicing, assembly and disassembly.
• Always wear your protective equipment and always observe the instructions in the operating manual
and work safety regulations.
