6 Putting into operation
ABICAR ADVANCED 42V
6.3 Positioning guide arms
In order to ensure restricted guidance along the contact surface, the guide arm
must be adjusted so that
it is shorter than the guide arm
. The adjustment depends on the direction of movement and the length of
the guide arm. The difference should be approx. 10 mm for a straight component.
1
Loosen the knurled screw
and advance by 10 mm or one groove.
2
Retighten the knurled screw
6.4 Positioning the welding torch
The cross slide must be adjusted according to the welding torch type and diameter. The welding torch
position can be changed in the vertical and horizontal direction during welding using the cross slide.
► Turn the adjusting screws
and
of the cross slide to the left or right.
The brackets
and
can be adjusted sidewise, or downwards and upwards.
