The attached safety instructions must also be observed.
2.1 Designated use
The ABI-CAR E-1200 welding tractor may be used only for the mechanized welding of workpieces and materials as
specified in the technical data (section 3.1). The term “machine” is also used in the following documentation for
simplification purposes. Welding on inclined or vertical surfaces may be performed only with a safety device to prevent
falling.
The machine has been built in line with the most current technology and recognized safety rules. Nevertheless, its use may
create dangers to life and limb of users or third parties or impairments of machinery or other tangible assets.
The machine must only be operated as intended and in technically perfect condition.
Compliance with work instructions for the individual workflows and regulations that apply to wearing mandatory personal
protective equipment is required.
Designated use also includes the observance of the operating instructions and compliance with conditions for inspection
and maintenance as well as regular cleaning and care.
We do not assume liability for damages that result from improper use.
The machine is manufactured in such a way that its electromagnetic compatibility permits use in the industrial sector. Private
use is not permitted.
The machine may not be operated in explosive environments.
The machine is used in accordance with its intended purpose if workpieces and materials that have been approved by
ABICOR BINZEL
are welded.
Unauthorized conversions or modifications are not allowed.
Use beyond this scope is considered unintended use.
2.2 Foreseeable misuse
The following is considered foreseeable misuse:
• Operation without the use of safety devices.
• Use of the machine by untrained personnel.
• Non-compliance with the operator's operating instructions.
• Non-compliance with the operating instructions.
• Use of welding torch types/dimensions other than those specified in the technical data.
• Welding of workpieces and/or material other than those specified in the technical data.
• Welding on inclined or vertical surfaces without safety devices.
• Operation of the machine on workpieces preheated to > 40 °C.
• Transport and/or maneuvering of persons or loads.
• Use as climbing aid.
• Use other than that deemed intended proper use.
2.3 Conversions or modifications
Unauthorized conversions or modifications of the ABI-CAR E-1200 welding tractor renders all claims for liability and
ABICOR BINZEL
guarantees null and void.
The electromagnetic behavior of the welding tractor can be impacted by any type of conversion or modification. Therefore,
you should not perform any conversions or modifications without consulting with
ABICOR BINZEL
and obtaining its written
consent.
