10 Troubleshooting
Please observe the attached document Warranty. Please consult your dealer or the manufacturer in case of doubt and
problems.

Improper repair work and modifications to the product may lead to serious injuries and damage to the device. The
product warranty will be rendered invalid if work is carried out on the product by unauthorized persons.
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
CAUTION
• Before performing any maintenance and cleaning work, the necessary safety measures must be taken.
• Maintenance and cleaning work on the fume extraction system may only be carried out in areas with locally filtered
forced ventilation.
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
• The personal protective equipment includes protective clothing, safety goggles, respirator mask class P3, protective
gloves and safety shoes.

• Consult the documentation for the welding components.
Fault Cause Solution
Unit is not
ready for
operation
• Control or component defective • Have it checked and replaced by qualified
personnel
• Turbine defective • Have it checked and replaced by qualified
personnel
• Carbon brushes defective • Have it checked and replaced by qualified
personnel
• System cannot be switched on
• Switch off the power to the system
Check the voltage circuit breaker and replace it if
necessary
• Reduced extraction capacity
• Clean the filter
• Switch off the power to the system
Replace the filter
• Check the straightness of the extraction hose and
change it if necessary
• Check suction hose for damage and clogging
• Cleaning the dust collecting drawer
