The
Genlock
parameter determines the locking reference source for AirCleaner.
All audio/video outputs from AirCleaner will be locked to the source selected by this
parameter.
This parameter has five possible settings:
•
= Free Run
The AirCleaner audio/video outputs are not
genlocked to any reference signal.
•
= PGM Video IN
The AirCleaner audio/video outputs are all genlocked
to the SD or HD SDI digital video signal present on
the
PGM IN
digital video connector.
•
= AUX Video IN
The AirCleaner audio/video outputs are all genlocked
to the SD or HD SDI digital video signal present on
the
AUX IN
digital video connector.
•
= Bi-Lvl REF IN
The AirCleaner audio/video outputs are all genlocked
to the analog video signal present on the
REF IN
connector. This analog video signal must have Bi-
Level sync.
•
= Tri-Lvl REF IN
The AirCleaner audio/video outputs are all genlocked
to the analog video signal present on the
REF IN
connector. This analog video signal must have Tri-
Level sync.
The
H OUT Timing
parameter adjusts the horizontal position of the
PGM OUT
and
TAP OUT
SDI digital video outputs relative to the reference source that’s currently
active.
This parameter has the following adjustable range:
•
= 0 Pixels
Minimum value.
•
= 2199 Pixels
Maximum value (depending the video format
AirCleaner is currently programmed to use the
maximum may be smaller than this).
Genlock
= Bi-Lvl REF IN
NOTE
The
REF IN
connector on the AirCleaner chassis accepts an analog
reference signal with either Bi-Level or Tri-Level sync. This analog
reference signal must match the frame rate of the incoming SDI
digital video signals feeding the
PGM IN
and
AUX IN
digital video
connectors.
HD users can lock to Bi-Level reference as long as the frame rate
of the Bi-Level reference matches the HD SDI digital video inputs.
The
REF IN
connector is internally terminated, and has no loop-
through connector.
H OUT Timing
= 0 Pixels
