Installation
Installation using an extension input (parallel mode)
The memory touch controller STD-MTS can be operated via
extensions. In this case, the following aspects have to be
considered:
- The maximum line length depends on the maximum
permitted ripple voltage at the extension inputs. How-
ever, the ripple voltage must not exceed 100 V (in
practice, this corresponds to a line length of at least
100 m).
- The number of pushbuttons over a line length of 100 is
unlimited.
- If lightable pushbuttons are used they have to be applied
only via their N connection.
- A contact-parallel lighting is not permitted.
- Undesired switching operations will be avoided, when
the control and the load line are not conducted in the
same cable.
ATTENTION
The phase of the "L" supply input must be the same as
the control phase for extension input "1" (see Fig. 2).
