4  Replacing the battery

1.

Isolate the recorder from the power supply.

Referring to Fig. 4.1:

Remove the tamper evident seal

 if fitted.

Using a medium flat-bladed screwdriver, unscrew jacking 
screw

Remove chassis

Locate the mounted battery

 on the underside of the 

case.

Remove the battery from the battery-mount

 and fit a 

new battery.

Insert chassis

Using a medium flat-bladed screwdriver to secure jacking 
screw

Fit new tamper evident seal

 (if required).

10. Restore power to the recorder and proceed to Section 5, 

page 3.

CAUTION – Property damage 

The recorder is vulnerable to electrostatic damage. 
Wear an anti-static strap or place the instrument on 
an anti-static workbench.
