Control cable glands
There are three control cable glands at the bottom of the unit:
• 1x M32 gland (4-hole insert with plugs for cables of up to 8 mm)
for FIO module cables.
• 2x M25 glands (2-hole insert with plugs for cables of up to 6 mm)
for communication cables (middle gland) and remote monitoring (right gland)
cables.
Control cable installation

for information on how to select the gland.
To install the control cables:
1. Loosen and remove the gland nut to open the
appropriate cable gland.
2. Remove the plug insert to remove the required
plugs.
3. Replace the plug insert and gland nut, but do
not tighten the gland.
4. Put the cables through the gland.
5. Remove 160 mm of the outer cable shell.
6. Ground the cable shield with the grounding
clamp. Torque the clamp screw to 2 N·m.
7. Remove 8…9 mm of the insulation from each
wire.
8. Install the wires in the appropriate terminals.

9. Tighten the gland. Make sure that the gland
seals around the cable and that the cable does
not move when pulled.
