9 Taking out of operation

9.1 Shut down turbocharger

If the turbocharger is damaged and the engine can be shut down for only
a short time for emergency repairs, proceed as follows:

u

Fit the cover plate.

 CAUTION

Always precisely obey the engine builder's instructions in case of engine
operation with a blocked/throttled turbocharger!

Dismantling the turbocharger

NOTICE

Perform the work in accordance with the chapter entitled Assembly and
disassembly

u

Remove the filter silencer or the air suction branch.

u

Remove the V-clamp (72030) and the compressor casing (72000)

u

Remove the cartridge group (10900) with the nozzle ring (56001).
