Home position sensor
This function provides information as to whether the three-position device is in its holder or not.
The home position sensor delivers a +24 VDC output when the HD5 is in place in an active holder. The holder
is available as an accessory.
Attention!
This signal is not failsafe and shall never be used for a safety function.
Motion sensor
The motion sensor delivers a +24 VDC output when small movements/vibrations are detected. The
movements are natural when the device is being held in one hand and can be used to prevent improper use
of the device, e.g. by keeping the three-position buttons in the middle position using a rubber band, cable
tie or similar.
