Shutting Down the Analyzer
NOTE
Powering down without going through the soft-shutdown process may corrupt
the operating software.
To shut down the analyzer:
1. Click the
Exit
button on the
User Interface Control Bar

2. A pop-up box appears in the
Main Panel
and prompts you to verify that you want to
shut down the analyzer (see Figure 26): This prevents unintentional button presses from
causing interruption in data acquisition.

3. Click the
OK
button to stop data acquisition, close the current data file, and display the
shutdown screen.
