Insert the screw through the mounting frame and in the shock absorbers.
Shock absorbers minimize the effects of vibrations, shocks, and bumps on the analytical unit, and
provide a certain amount of protection against seismic activity (Class 1 of IEC 60255, part 21).
NOTICE
It is
critical
that the two cups maintaining the internal spring aligned do not come in
contact with each other, either radially or axially, as this would cancel the protective
effects of the shock absorber.

Tighten the M8 screw by hand, and then up to the required torque (21.1 N·m [15.6 lb.ft]).

Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the three remaining shock absorbers.
