3.16 Backing Up and Restoring Configurations
A backup file of the recorder's configuration settings can be
saved to a PC and restored to the recorder using the
C1300
Configuration Backup Utility Software
(download from
Configurator Cable
(part no.
C100/0051 – available from the Company).
3.16.1 Backing Up a Configuration

Connect the Configurator Cable to the recorder's
configuration backup port (see Fig. 3.5) and the PC's serial
port.

Run the software 'C1300 Configuration Backup Utility.exe'
on the PC.

Save the current configuration – see Fig. 3.6.

Exit the
C1300 Configuration Backup Utility Software

Disconnect the
Configurator Cable
.

Press the
key to return the recorder to normal
operation – see Section 2.3.1, page 8.
