Start-up
Contents of this chapter
This chapter describes the start-up procedure of the drive.
Reforming the capacitors
The capacitors must be reformed if the drive has not been powered (either in storage
or unused) for a year or more. The manufacturing date is on the type designation label.

Start-up procedure
1.
Make sure that the installation of the drive module has been checked according
to the checklist in chapter
Installation checklist (page 159)
, and that the motor and
driven equipment are ready for start.
2.
Perform the start-up tasks instructed by the cabinet-installer of the drive module.
3.
Run setup of the drive control program according to the start-up instructions
given in the quick start-up guide or firmware manual.
4.
For drives with D150, see chapter

5.
For drive modules in which the Safe torque off function is in use: Test and validate
the operation of the Safe torque off function. See section
