Pump control features

MPPT control program
The Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) control program is a built-in logic in
the ACQ80 drives. This enables the drive to monitor the available DC power
from the PV array and regulate the motor speed accordingly.
Some of the other features of MPPT program are:
• Monitors the DC power continuously.
• Make sure that the pump works smoothly with controlled acceleration and
declaration of pump motors even when there are sudden changes in DC
voltage due to cloud passing. This helps to avoid motor and pump damage.
• Monitors available DC power and avoids multiple restarts of pump motor
during early morning and late evening time when PV array is the only source
of power to the drive. This function also helps to increase service life of
motor, pump and pipeline.
