Dismantle the filter silencer
Dismantling the filter silencer [➙
1. Loosen retaining nuts (N) and remove with screws (B
1
).
2. Turn back the screw (B
2
) until the slot of the locking device (94003) is fully open.
3. Position the slot of the locking device on a fin of the wall insert (77000).
4. Align the hole circle of the locking device with the drill holes in the compressor wheel
(25000).
5. Fit at least 9 screws (B
1
) (refer to the table below for the tightening torque) without the re-
taining nuts (N).
If more than 3 drill holes in the hub of the compressor wheel are occupied by set screws,
the corresponding number must be unscrewed.
6. Fit screw (B
2
) (refer to the table below for the tightening torque).

9.3.2
Engines with bypass around the turbocharger
The chapter only applies for engines with one turbocharger and for systems on which the con-
nections for a bypass have been prepared and the necessary pipe connections have been
provided.
Close the lubricating oil supply to the turbocharger.
Open the bypass around the turbocharger.
Observe specifications from enginebuilder.
