Fields of Application
The ABB Powernet EIB device system is configured similarly
to that of the ABB i-bus
®
EIB, however, signal transmission
is via the 230 V supply system instead of the 2-core bus line.
Switch Actuator (e.g., staircase lighting time switch)
The built-in device 6953 EB-500 is installed in conventional
lamps. Supplementary ON and OFF switching is possible
via conventional pushbutton switches (e.g., 2020 US).
Other supplementary input functions can be selected via
the software (see Techical Manual).
Dimmer Actuator
The built-in device 6953 EB-500 allows
- "infinitely adjustable" dimming and
- the calling of freely definable brightness values for lamps
with electrical control gear (0-10 V control input).
NOTE
Device selection (switch or dimmer actuator) is effected
via the software.
